  "text": "That any member of the Fire Department reaching the age of seventy years shall be retired from the Fire Department, and, if eligible for participation in the benefits of this Pension Fund by reason of the years of service in the Department or otherwise, it shall be the duty of the Pension Board members to place said member on pension.\n\nDesignated from Acts 1946, No. 299, §7 by Acts 1991, No. 74, §3, eff. June 25, 1991.",
