  "text": "From the date this Part becomes effective, the funds, proceeds, and revenues hereinafter provided for shall constitute the Firemen's Pension and Relief Fund of the City of Lafayette to be used for the purposes set forth in R.S. 11:3281 hereof and in accordance with the provisions hereinafter contained.",
