  "text": "After twenty years of continuous active service, no officer, member, or employee of the police department who has attained the age of fifty years and who has made his contribution to the fund, shall be deprived of his rights to the benefits, pensions, and annuities provided for by this Subpart, for any reason.\n\nRedesignated from R.S. 33:2297 by Acts 1991, No. 74, §3, eff. June 25, 1991.",
