A member who is eligible for regular retirement may elect to participate in the Deferred Retirement Option Plan in accordance with the provisions of R.S. 11:447 through 454, or the Initial Benefit Option provided by R.S. 11:446(A)(5).\n\nB. Any member of this plan may elect to participate in the Annual Cost-of-Living Adjustment Option provided by R.S. 11:446(A)(6).",
