Appointment of appellate and post-conviction counsel in death penalty case ACTIVE

In a capital case in which the trial counsel was provided to an indigent defendant and in which the jury imposed the death penalty, the court, within thirty days of the imposition of the sentence of death, shall order the office of the state public defender to have enrolled at least one attorney for direct appeal and at least one separate attorney for state post conviction proceedings.
