  "text": "The Louisiana Geological Survey shall be located at Louisiana State University and Agricultural and Mechanical College and shall be a part of that institution. The Louisiana Geological Survey shall maintain current surface and subsurface geological surveys of the entire state and shall work in cooperation with other state entities and other political subdivisions as appropriate and required by law.",
