  "text": "The requirements in R.S. 22:149 shall not be applicable as follows:\n\n(1) When an industrial life insurance policy is issued by any domestic, foreign, or alien insurer providing other benefits, in addition to life insurance, the provisions of R.S. 22:149 shall apply only to the life insurance portion of the policy.\n\n(2) Any of the provisions of R.S. 22:149 or portions thereof not applicable to non-participating or term or paid-up policies shall to that extent not be incorporated therein.",
