  "text": "The fund shall be controlled, managed, and administered exclusively by The Board of Trustees of the Firemen's Disability and Relief Fund, hereinafter referred to as \"the board\".\n\nA board created under Act 303 of 1940 1 and existing on the effective date of these Revised Statutes is continued in effect, subject to the provisions of R.S. 33:2021 through 33:2042.\n\n1 R.S. 33:2021 et seq.",
