  "text": "From any revocation or suspension, the person charged may, within thirty days thereof, appeal to the district court for the parish in which the hearing was held. A stenographic record of all proceedings before the board shall be made and a transcript kept on file with the board. The secretary-treasurer shall transmit to the district court a certified copy of the record. The district court shall try the appeal based solely upon submission of the record, evidence, and testimony presented to the board.",
