  "text": "A. The fees to be paid for services rendered under the provisions of this Chapter shall be as follows:\n\n(1)\n\nFor an examination to determine the\n\nqualifications of an applicant from\n\nanother state or country\n\nto receive a certificate of registration to\n\npractice barbering\n\n$ 80.00\n\n(2)\n\nFor an examination to determine qualifications\n\nof an applicant from this state to receive a\n\ncertificate of registration to practice\n\nbarbering\n\n$ 40.00\n\n(3)\n\nFor an examination to determine the\n\nqualifications of an applicant to\n\nreceive a certificate of registration\n\nas an instructor\n\n$ 40.00\n\n(4)\n\nFor the issuance of the initial certificate to\n\noperate a barber college\n\n$350.00\n\n(5)\n\nFor each annual renewal of a barber's\n\ncertificate\n\n$ 50.00\n\n(6)\n\nFor each issuance or annual renewal of an\n\ninstructor's certificate\n\n$ 70.00\n\n(7)\n\nFor the restoration of any expired instructor\n\ncertificate\n\n$ 70.00\n\n(plus $10.00 for each year the certificate\n\nhas been expired)\n\n(8)\n\nFor each annual renewal of a certificate to\n\noperate a barber college\n\n$ 80.00\n\n(9)\n\nFor the restoration of an expired\n\njourneyman's certificate\n\n$ 50.00\n\n(plus $60.00 for each year\n\nthe certificate has been expired)\n\n(10)\n\nFor the restoration of an expired certificate\n\nfor a barber college\n\n$350.00\n\n(11)\n\nFor the issuance of any duplicate certificate\n\n$ 5.00\n\n(12)\n\nFor shop inspection\n\n$ 30.00\n\n(13)\n\nFor noncompliance penalty for shop\n\ninspection\n\n$ 30.00\n\n(14)\n\nFor new shop location inspection\n\n$ 30.00\n\n(15)\n\nFor noncompliance penalty for new\n\nshop inspection\n\n$ 30.00\n\n(16)\n\nFor late renewal of barber's certificate,\n\nprior to April 1\n\n$ 60.00\n\n(17)\n\nFor late renewal of barber's certificate\n\non or after April 1\n\n$110.00\n\n(18)\n\nFor late renewal of barber college's\n\ncertificate prior to April 1\n\n$100.00\n\n(19)\n\nFor late renewal of barber college's\n\ncertificate on or after April 1\n\n$160.00\n\n(20)\n\nFor the annual renewal of all barber\n\nshop registrations\n\n$ 30.00\n\n(21)\n\nFor each issuance or annual renewal of an\n\napprenticeship certificate\n\n$ 50.00\n\n(22)\n\nFor late renewal of an apprenticeship\n\ncertificate prior to April 1\n\n$ 60.00\n\n(23)\n\nFor late renewal of an apprenticeship\n\ncertificate after April 1\n\n$110.00\n\nB. The board shall waive the initial examination fee provided in Subsection A of this Section for a graduate of a Louisiana barber college who holds a certificate of registered student.\n\nC. The fee to retake any examination shall be the same as the fee for the initial examination.\n\nD. The annual registration renewal fee provided in Subsection A of this Section shall be due and payable no later than January thirty-first of each year. If payment is received after January thirty-first, but before March thirty-first, there shall be an additional charge of ten dollars. If payment is received after March thirty-first, there shall be an additional charge of twenty dollars.",
