  "text": "A motor vehicle manufacturer may not do any of the following in order to disable the remote access technology:\n\n(1) Require the survivor to pay a fee or any outstanding fines owed by the abuser.\n\n(2) Contact the abuser after the survivor submits a complete remote access suspension request.",
