  "text": "This part shall apply to criminal cases subject to the following limitations and provisions:\n\n(1) An order for the tests shall be made only upon application of a party or on the court's initiative;\n\n(2) The compensation of the experts shall be paid by the parish of the party's domicile under order of court;\n\n(3) The court may direct a verdict of acquittal upon the conclusions of all the experts under the provisions of R.S. 9:397.3(D), otherwise the case shall be submitted for determination upon all the evidence.",
